Home Depot Pro Senior Platform Administrator - Senior Salesforce Administrator in Atlanta, Georgia
Position Purpose:
The Pro Senior Platform Administrator is responsible for leading the management and maintenance of the day-to-day operations of Salesforce within the Home Depot Pro organization. The Pro Senior Platform Administrator ensures that Salesforce is configured, customized, and optimized to meet specific needs and objectives of the Pro business by collaborating closely with various stakeholders. In addition, the Pro Senior Platform Administrator will mentor and support Pro Platform Administrators, lead implementation efforts, and maintain a holistic view of all business processes and users in the system to understand cross-functional impacts with regard to configuration, process, workflow, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
20% - Collaboration - Collaborate with the business and cross-functional partners to identify and define business requirements and prioritize enhancements.
60% - Platform Management - Customize Salesforce or Anaplan to align with Pro business processes and workflows. Evaluate new releases of Salesforce or Anaplan to determine functionality requirements and provide detailed information on how changes will apply to all affected departments/users. Build and maintain advanced custom reports and dashboards or models to provide actionable insights into business data. Lead the administration and maintenance of Salesforce or Anaplan, including user management, security settings, and data integrity.
20% - Teach, Train, Develop - Coordinate new and ongoing user training sessions. Develop training plans, materials, and documentation for users to help them effectively use Salesforce or Anaplan. Provide training and mentorship to Pro Platform Administrators.

Travel Requirements:
- Typically requires overnight travel less than 5% of the time.
Physical Requirements:
- Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions, there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
Working Conditions:
- Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be eighteen years of age or older.
Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications:
5+ years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator with a proven track record of handling complex projects and configurations
Working knowledge of Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud
Deep understanding of Salesforce configuration tools including (but not limited to): apps, custom fields, record types, dynamic layouts, flow, approval processes, custom settings, omni-channel, dashboards and reports
Understanding of when to use Salesforce configuration versus code-based solutions (triggers/Apex)
Experience with programming languages such as SQL, JavaScript, HTML, Java and Apex preferred
Certified Salesforce Administrator (or other relevant Salesforce certifications) preferred
DevOps and release management experience
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Working knowledge of Tableau
Demonstrated ability to collaborate and work effectively with cross-functional teams
Ability to convey complex or technical ideas and processes in easy-to-understand terms to diverse audiences
Excellent verbal and written communication skills including technical documentation
Minimum Education:
- The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a high school diploma and/or GED.
Preferred Education:
- The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.

The pay range for this position is between $100,000 - $220,000
