NASCO Principal Product Manager in Atlanta, Georgia
Overview
The Principal Product Manager partners with Product Leaders, Product Owners, and Engineering to provide a clear product vision and strategy for delivery. The Principal Product Manager is a key product leader who effectively integrates, motivates and builds relationships with and between product team members, customers, key stakeholders, executives, and other individuals or organizations involved with the end-to-end product life cycle. Through ongoing market analysis, competitive analysis, customer interaction and collaboration with engineering/development, business and financial stakeholders, the Principal Product Manager defines product strategy and goals to meet strategic goals, set priorities, guide and support development and operational activities, and provide direction and oversight to product teams. The Principal Product Manager will have a strategic and broad scope of responsibility across key start up product(s) or solution areas as assigned.

Qualifications
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Ability to facilitate difficult discussions and prioritize competing interests by managing both strategic and tactical interests
Ability to work effectively and influence cross-functional teams without formal authority leading to positive outcomes and goals
Ability to surface, prioritize and balance multiple stakeholder priorities
Ability to define and launch products
Skills in problem-solving and analytical thinking
Ability to deal with uncertainty
Skills in oral and written communication
Skills in presenting to clients and representing the organization in the market
Ability to build strong relationships and collaborate across diverse and matrixed stakeholders and customers
Experience:
10 years of experience as product owner, product manager or similar role
3 - 5 years of experience working in healthcare IT or software
Depth of experience across product management skills with a track record of delivering successful products to market
Practical experience or technical background with expertise and experience in SAFe/Agile/Waterfall development methods
Experience developing and managing product roadmaps, goals and themes, for more one or more products in a product portfolio
Proven experience with design thinking principles and customer/user experience centered design frameworks
Experience with researching and understanding both market and customer needs
Experience leveraging data to inform decision making and assist in solving engineering problems
Required Training, Certification and Education:
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) product design, engineering, business or related degree; or equivalent work experience
