In this position, you will ensure the UR and customer needs for pre-sales support, and customer / partner training are complete. These activities include but are not limited to: sales visits, supporting customers and integrators in deploying the cobots, participate in trade shows, and facilitate customer / partner training.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure that the regional Application Engineering team:
Provide technical support and sale enablement to partners (distributors: SI, CSI) and end-users - Provide robotic application support and consultation to partners and end-users
Develop distributors’/end users technical knowledge and abilities with regards to Universal Robots and applications
Support Service 360 activities and case management in accordance with the global service processes.
Exchange knowledge with, and invigorate the global Application Engineering community
Be able to navigate in a both regional and global organization at the same time = drive processes locally and be aligned with global technical team on processes, tools, training material, application development for customers and trade shows, etc.
Direct leadership of +10 employees in multiple countries and/or high complexity (languages/cultures)
Own the performance management process for your team inclusive of goal setting, feedback, coaching, career discussions, and performance appraisals
Create pre-sales and technical KPIs to drive high growth and improve customer partnerships with CDM's and/or Sales Engineers to ensure customer needs are met
Facilitate team environment by hiring, onboarding, assigning and delegating work, while guiding, training and coaching colleagues
Partner with CDM's and/or Sales Engineers to ensure customer needs are met
Interact with C-suite level executives from distributors, partners and key customers
Ensure team members follow process standards and drive for continuous improvement

Education, Skills & Experience:
Minimum a Bachelor's Degree in a related field, advanced degree preferred
+10 years successful track record of technical support in the robotics industry
Solid technical knowleadge and skills of robotics and automation including multiple applications
Documented success over multiple years in pre-sales support, post-sales support and training
Experience supporting structured sales, plans, budgets, pipeline management
+3 years experience managing people on site and/or on the distance
Experience managing complex client relationships is required
Strong oral communication skills including the ability to de-escalate sensitive situation
Business acumen that you can apply in interactions with all levels in the company, from senior management to technical support employees
Demonstrated conflict resolution skills
