Robert Half Paralegal or Paraplanner - Estate Planning Probate in Atlanta, Georgia

Description

We are inviting applications for the role of a Paralegal, based in Atlanta, Georgia. The successful candidate will primarily be involved in estate planning and wealth transfer services, working closely with high-net-worth clients. The role is a part of a dynamic team that focuses on delivering exceptional services to our clients.

• Engage in the accurate gathering, organization, and synthesis of client data, including estate planning documents, financial statements, and tax returns

• Prepare Wealth Transfer Advisory Service deliverables such as Wealth Transfer Diagrams, Reports, and Audits

• Review Wealth Transfer Advisory Service deliverables prepared by team members to ensure consistency and accuracy

• Draft estate planning considerations for review by Wealth Transfer Advisor or Director of Wealth Transfer

• Preparation and review of fiduciary income tax returns, gift tax returns, estate tax returns, and charitable trust returns

• Manage deceased client cases independently, ensuring all necessary procedures are followed

• Act as a resource for advisors, clients, and service representatives by answering estate planning related queries and account titling and beneficiary designation questions

• Participate in the development of Wealth Transfer workflows and advisor support systems

• Cultivate and maintain strong client and advisor relationships to ensure excellent client service

• Assist in the creation of estate planning content for various platforms

• Contribute to team efforts by providing assistance and filling in for others when necessary.

Requirements

• Proven expertise in Estate Planning and Probate & Estate Administration

• 3-10 years of professional related experience

• Experience in client interfacing with high-net-worth individuals

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines

• Proficiency in using legal research platforms and legal databases

• Demonstrated ability to maintain strict confidentiality and discretion

• Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail

• Strong understanding and adherence to legal and ethical standards

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
