Job Title: Operations Engineer
Reports To: Senior Operations Engineer
Job Overview: The Operations Engineer is responsible for maintaining the essential systems and equipment that our company relies on for its daily operations. This role involves routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair, ensuring optimal functioning of all company-managed operational systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform regular diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on company systems and equipment.
Work closely with the Senior Operations Engineer to implement system improvements and projects.
Document and maintain service records, logs, and reports of equipment status.
Respond quickly to system malfunctions or breakdowns and coordinate with vendors or contractors for necessary repairs beyond in-house capacity.
Assist with the development of maintenance procedures and ensure they are followed.
Contribute to the procurement process for new equipment and spare parts.
Provide technical support and guidance to Operations Technicians.
Participate in safety and compliance trainings and apply best practices to all tasks.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
A minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in operations engineering.
Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
Demonstrated ability to analyze and solve complex technical problems.
Exceptional time management skills and attention to detail.
Professional credentials, such as a Professional Engineer (PE) license, may be preferred.
