We are currently seeking a friendly and organized individual to join our team as a Medical Front Desk Receptionist. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication and multitasking skills, as well as the ability to handle a fast-paced work environment. Responsibilities include greeting patients, scheduling appointments, managing phone calls, and maintaining patient records. Previous experience in a medical office setting is preferred and Athena EMR experience is a must have. If you are interested in this position, please submit your resume for consideration.

work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

Responsibilities

• Greets patients as they arrive for their appointments

• Verify insurance plans

• Performs insurance eligibility transactions and translates for patients regarding their financial responsibility

• Collects co-pays and outstanding balances

• Schedules appointments for new patients and established patients and reschedules patients when necessary due to changes in provider schedules

• Answer patient calls

• Performs insurance eligibility transactions and translates for patients regarding their financial responsibility
