What You'll Do:

The Internal Communications Manager will be responsible for global internal communications to enhance employee engagement and organizational efficiency. This individual will report to the Senior Director of Communications and PR and will work with various stakeholders and leaders including executives to develop compelling narratives, presentations, and internal stakeholder communications across multiple channels for Americold's global functions (HR, IT, Finance, etc.) Design and execute overall communication strategies for a variety of business initiatives to inform associates and drive engagement. Function as a consultant aligned with senior leaders and/or business partners to proactively develop internal communications, including suggestions for the appropriate audiences, channels, messages, and time frame to meet the strategic objectives of the business. Create materials for a wide range of internal communication channels (e.g., digital signage, posters, video scripts, email communications, town hall meetings, manager talking points, and other platforms) that consider all audiences/levels and address the unique needs of the business functions and geographies while upholding brand guidelines. Possess strong understanding of internal audiences and ensure communication strategies effectively reach all employee populations (e.g., leaders, hourly warehouse associates, international associates, etc.) Manage Americold's corporate philanthropic initiatives and programs. Plan and lead internal company sponsored events. Write clearly and informatively, edit work for spelling and grammar, adapt writing style to meet need Monitor, measure, and report on the effectiveness of internal communication channels

What Experience and Education You Need: 5 years of experience in the design and development and execution of internal communications programs, as well as design, development, and execution of organizational development initiatives. Bachelor's degree in communication, organizational readiness, business management, or related program Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), flexibility and adaptability to change a must Experience communicating with a non-desk workforce (warehouse or factory), required Experience in strategic/change management communications, preferred.

What Could Set You Apart: Strong English writing and editorial skills required, with fluency in Spanish considered an additional asset. Excellent influence and consulting skills including working with multiple constituents/stakeholders. Excellent problem solving, analysis and decision-making skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word). Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task required. Strong ability to operate within a complex organization with multiple stakeholders.
