Mainframe Developer

Title: Mainframe Developer

Location: Atlanta GA

Job description:

Must have.

  • FIS Core banking experience

  • Middleware tool called 'Express'

  • API Development experience

  • COB-CICS with VSAM and DB2

  • Experienced in FIS systems COBOL Middleware layer called Express Banking application checking savings salary experience is mandatory.

  • Strong architecture and programming FIS core application IMPACS COBOL CICS VSAM DB2

Role Description

To support the development of SOA Services for banking clients by GAP analyzing existing legacy interfaces detailing analysis results and maintaining the mainframe integrations for future service-enabled applications

  • Extensive experience of 6 years maintaining mainframe applications using the CCEOL language.

  • Familiarity with Assembler modules to fix application issues.

  • The Candidate should understand GN RM or ST IMPACS and or ALS and have experience and an understanding Of the Data Dictionary arid Parms.

  • Experience using the Change Man change management System.

  • Extensive experience with COBOL code and tracing data elements through the various systems and Subsystems

  • Good interpersonal verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate sophisticated technical concepts to non-technical staff Skill in optimally with others using tact and subtlety.

  • Strong analytical organizational and problem-solving.

  • Demonstrable ability to exercise initiative and good judgment, make sound decisions, and work independently and as part of a team.

  • Experience in mainframe and distributed technologies with GN experience and understanding of the Data Dictionary and Parms is preferred.

  • Candidates with strong COBOL experience and Assembler is preferred.
