Overview

The Lead Technical Product Owner within the Digital Transformation and Technology department is a member of the Agile team who is accountable and responsible for the product to which they are assigned.

As a CommercePoint Edge Services Lead Technical Product Owner, you will serve as the owner of a service that opens the CommercePoint ecosystem within the restaurant to enable transformative technologies including, but not limited to, robotics, ML modeling, and computer vision solutions. Edge Services is an in-restaurant service that is on the leading edge of demand management and automation. This service supports many of Chick-fil-A's unique operations and service models which allow Team Members to ensure every Customer order is prepared and filled efficiently and accurately. As the owner of a highly complex system that sits in the middle of an ever-changing and intricate environment, the Lead Technical Product Owner must work closely with other Technical Product Owners and Stakeholders across multiple channels to ensure cross-collaboration to effectively deliver business outcomes. Leading through relationships & influence is a must in this role.

In this role, the Lead Technical Product Owner has an opportunity to build technology that is used all day, every day in every Chick-fil-A restaurant and directly influences Chick-fil-A's Customers, Team Members, and Operators. You will collaborate with business stakeholders and Operators to understand current opportunities and desired experiences, and partner with the development team to realize features and services that ensure the customer order production and fulfillment experiences are relevant and leading edge.

Responsibilities

  • Serves as the final authority representing the customer’s interests in sprint backlog prioritization and requirements discussions, setting all priorities for the team in alignment with the business stakeholder roadmap(s).- Works to maximize the business value delivered by the team in each development sprint.- Ensures that the product delivers and maintains a high degree of uptime, security, and quality.- Ensures that user stories, themes, and epics are written, refined, and clearly define a universal definition of done.- Facilitates and oversees the immediate needs of the development team as they arise by being fully available to the team.- Facilitates estimation sessions, backlog grooming efforts, and sprint reviews.- Coordinates user acceptance testing and all necessary external validation efforts.- Accepts stories after they are deemed complete by the development team.- Represents the team and their efforts to others within the organization.- Ensures cross-team and release requirements and dependencies are shared appropriately.- Develops and maintains strong and productive relationships with all IT and business stakeholders.- Attends all team retrospectives and assists with driving continuous improvement across the team.- Manages all budget requirements of the Agile team.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience from which comparable skills can be acquired
