Emory University Interventional Radiologist in Atlanta, Georgia
THE EMORY UNIVERSITY SCHOOL OF MEDICINE Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences is seeking full-time academic radiologist for its interventional radiology and image-guided medicine division. The position is for a fellowship trained interventional radiologist. Our division is based at the Emory University Hospital, Winship Cancer Institute, Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, Grady Memorial Hospital, Emory University Hospital at Midtown, Emory John’s Creek Hospital and Emory St. Joseph’s Hospital. Our division performs the entire spectrum of IR procedures with strong oncologic, transplant, trauma, vascular and pediatric IR services. Chemoembolization, radioembolization, UFE, RFA, cryoablation, endovenous laser ablation and TIPS contribute significantly to our caseload. Emory has one of the largest transplant services in the country. Peripheral vascular interventions, active AAA and traumatic thoracic stent graft programs are in place at Grady Memorial Hospital, and vascular malformation center at our children's hospital. We offer a clinically-based IR practice with clinics and hospital admitting services. We have active image-guided research programs with opportunities to collaborate with the joint Emory University and Georgia Institute of Technology Biomedical Engineering department. Faculty rank will be commensurate with experience. The prospective applicants would join the dynamic division at a very exciting time.Atlanta is the cosmopolitan and historic capital of Georgia.
