Position Purpose:

The Financial Analyst - Global FP&A will support total company financials with reporting, forecasting and planning. Duties in this position may include, but are not limited to, preparing monthly and ad hoc reporting for leadership, working with accounting on monthly close activities and assisting other Finance associates with budget management. They will have P&L ownership over multiple centrally-managed accounts and be responsible for forecasting and planning for them.

The ideal candidate for this role will be able to excel in a fast-paced environment, successfully manage competing priorities, and have high attention to detail.

This position requires strong interpersonal skills. The Financial Analyst will interact with Finance, Accounting, and other business partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performs economic and financial research and analyzes internal and external issues related to sales, gross margin, rate of return, working capital, investment, financial performance, and other financial metrics.

  • Compiles or prepares reports, graphs and charts of developed data.

  • Conducts special financial and statistical studies as directed in coordination with other departments in the preparation of statistical studies.

  • Gathers and correlates basic information using established and defined financial procedures

Direct Manager/Direct Reports:

  • This position typically reports to a Manager.

  • This position does not have direct reports.

Travel Requirements:

  • Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.

Physical Requirements:

  • Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

Working Conditions:

  • Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.

  • Must meet reasonable deadlines, quotas or demands for accuracy and/or may be involved in some mildly difficult situations

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be eighteen years of age or older.

  • Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor' s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field is preferred.

  • Three years experience in Accounting or Finance is preferred.

Minimum Education:

  • The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.

  • 2
