*Pay Range: $111,000 - $153,000 USD Annually
POSITION SUMMARY:

This position will manage the payroll team across Canada and the USA. This role reports directly to the Director of Group Finance. This is a key role responsible for providing, leadership and direction to the payroll team to ensure the payroll process runs smoothly across multiple systems and geographies.
MAIN DUTIES:
The Payroll Director will d irectly manage a team of 7 Payroll Co-ordinators and Analysts to facilitate the complex payroll across the USA and Canada. They will work alongside the Payroll Systems Manager to improve efficiencies in the systems and processes. They will support with complex manual payroll calculations due to requirements in different regions, states, businesses and countries. The Payroll Director will also do the following:
Ensure time and attendance processes are effective and data actioned accurately.
Co-ordinate with other regional Payroll leads and Finance where required.
Work across multiple systems.
WHAT YOU BRING:
The ideal candidate will bring previous experience working in a senior payroll position. They will bring experience facilitating the payroll across large geographical areas. They will bring a demonstrated ability to understand complex payroll variances and complete manual calculations accordingly. They will bring an understanding of various payroll requirements across Canadian Provinces and US States beneficial. Other desired skills include:
Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
Track record of mentoring, developing and leading a team.
Experience working across multiple payroll systems.

The benefits for eligible part-time employees working 25 or more hours per week and full-time employees in the US include a comprehensive package of health, retirement, and insurance benefits and paid time off. The benefits for eligible project hires and part-time employees working less than 25 hours per week in the US include retirement, select insurance benefits, and where required by law, health benefits.
