Arcadis seeks an experienced Design-BuildTechnical Assurance Manager / Director to join the Mobility Design and Engineering group in Atlanta, GA. This role will serve as a part of the project quality team to help our teams meet project technical and quality process requirements.

The Design-Build Technical Assurance Manager fills various key quality roles within the Design-Build industry. Examples of such roles are Quality Control Manager within the design team, Independent Quality Assurance Manager working for the contractor and Independent Verification working for the client. The position requires an in-depth understanding of design of mobility infrastructure including roadway, bridges and structural engineering, particularly in design-build projects to ensure that the engineering designs, construction processes, and project deliverables meet specified technical requirements (design standards, codes, client requirements) and quality standards.

Role Accountabilities: Collaboration with Project Delivery, Technical and Quality Management team to develop and implement a comprehensive quality program for large design build and other alternative delivery projects. Evaluate and incorporate Arcadis' best practices from other Business Areas to systematically enforce technical requirements, quality standards, procedures, and best practices. Facilitate compliance with and review of engineering designs, calculations, and drawings to ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and project specifications. Work closely with project teams to provide guidance on quality-related matters during the design phase. Develop Standard Operating Procedures in relevant Technical Assurance areas to standardize process and procedures. Collaborate with project teams to enhance and streamline the quality process to optimize project schedule and fee performance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quality measures seamlessly into the design-build and other alternative project delivery methods. Conduct regular internal and external audits to evaluate compliance with quality standards and identify areas for improvement. Develop training programs to support integration of new team members into design teams. Prepare and present regular reports to management on the status of quality initiatives.

Required Qualifications: 15 Years of experience in the transportation design build industry. Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field. Professional Engineer (PE) license required.

Key Skills and Abilities: Proven experience as design engineer, design manager or Engineer of Record on design-build projects. Substantial background in design of highways and bridges. Demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing quality programs. In-depth knowledge of relevant industry codes and standards. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Detail-oriented with a focus on continuous improvement. Familiarity with quality management systems.

Preferred Qualifications: GA PE Experience working with Georgia DOT and other state DOTs

Arcadis offers benefits for full time and part time positions. We offer nine paid holidays and 15 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $116,000 - $145,000.
