Insight Global Controls Field Technician in Atlanta, Georgia

Job Description

Our client is looking for a Controls FieldTechnician to supervise and coordinate a team of technicians and ensure the successful completion of control systems projects. This position requires a keen eye for detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to lead and motivate a team to complete projects on time and within budget. Other responsibilities include:

Supervise and coordinate day-to-day operations of the internal install team.

Plan and layout Scope of Work to ensure project completion.

Ensure adherence to OSHA safety standards and procedures.

Monitor the progress of projects by daily reporting to management, sales, and the Project Manager assigned to the project.

Troubleshoot control system problems and diagnose issues.

Train and mentor technicians in safety protocols and job skills.

Ensure that all materials and equipment are available for projects.

Monitor the work of the install crew to ensure the quality of work meets standards.

Skills and Requirements

-High school diploma or equivalent

-5+ years of experience in electrical installation and wiring

-Proven experience in a lead or supervisory role

-Working knowledge of electrical codes and regulations

-Able to interpret wiring diagrams and schematics

-Valid driver's license and clean driving record

-Ability to pass a drug screen and background check Experience working with Lighting Controls or Fixtures null
