Consultant, Point of Care Solution Design

The Solution Design Consultant provides clinical support for Omnicell Point of Care Solutions. THIS IS FOR THE SOUTHEAST REGION (i.e. Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, Mississippi)

Responsibilities:

  • Engage in Solution Design pre-sale and work in tandem, post-sale, with Professional Services to enhance the customer lifecycle.

  • Serve as a healthcare and medication distribution expert and articulate the company’s suite of services to customers.

  • Provide clinical and workflow expertise, to include Omnicell solutions and industry best practices.

  • Build the business case strategy and best overall technology solution for the customer. To include customer medication management efficiencies, meet KPI’s and future vision.

  • Assist with providing Training & Education per guidance of Field Enablement

  • Support the development of best practices for medication management & technology adoption

  • Provide Continuity & Knowledge Transfer, pre-sale into Implementation

  • Serve as a resource to management and staff on the issues relating to hospital practice and, more specifically, the medication management process.

  • Act as a liaison between the Marketing department & the Sales organization in determining practice trends and providing feedback from the field to assist in new product development

  • Lead specific projects as identified by Leadership

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills

  • Emotional intelligence

  • Executive Presence

  • Experience with healthcare-related technology desirable

Basic Qualifications:

  • Pharmacy license or RN license

  • 8 or more years of experience in the healthcare industry

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in healthcare related field or Doctor of Pharmacy

  • 10 or more years of experience in the healthcare industry

Work Conditions:

  • Ability to travel up to 80% domestically
