How you'll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities)

  • Work with a team of Aerospace Engineers and engineering compliance specialists on multiple projects.

  • Identify and implement improvements to existing processes to increase efficiency, productivity, and performance

Airport Analysis and Takeoff & Landing Performance:

  • Assist with GIS (Geographical Information System) analysis for airports worldwide as well as aircraft departure procedures where terrain and/or aircraft noise pose operational limitations

  • Monitor daily airports and runway characteristics changes

Enroute Performance:

  • Review flights with seating capacity restrictions due to high temperatures, enroute winds, etc.

  • Develop and engineer operational datasets for payload performance monitoring

  • Monitor aircraft over/under fuel burn performance

Weight and Balance:

  • Monitor and update aircraft weight ledgers as mods/repairs are embodied

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)

  • Seeking a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Aeronautical/Aerospace or Mechanical strongly preferred).

  • Strong analytic, technical writing, and verbal communications skills required.

  • MS Office (i.e. Excel, PowerPoint) skills required. SQL, Python and/or VBA skills a plus.

  • Private pilot's license a plus.

  • Students must be able to complete 3 alternating rotations in Atlanta, GA in line with the below schedule:

    (Fall 2024 - 1st rotation -- Summer

    2025 - 2nd rotation -- Spring 2026 - 3rd rotation)

  • Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.

  • Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles.

  • Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.

  • Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.
