Eaton Corporation Channel Sales Director, Agent Engagement in Atlanta, Georgia

Position Overview:

Eaton’s North American Sales Division is currently seeking a Channel Sales Director, Agent Engagement to join our Channel Sales organization in the Electrical Sector. This is a remote position that can be based anywhere within the continental United States.

Reporting directly to the Vice President of Channel Sales, you will have the opportunity to take the lead in Shaping Eaton’s agent engagement strategy. You will manage a dynamic team, ensuring ethical and consistent handling of all agent interactions and contracts while driving impactful change across the enterprise. You will be instrumental in steering channel operations, business execution and strategic account management. Collaborating with senior leadership, you will develop and implement innovative strategies that will directly influence the future of Eatons go-to-market approach that will drive strong outcomes for our business and our customers.

Essential Functions:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans for agent engagement and management.

  • Lead a team of professionals responsible for managing agents, channel operations, business execution, and strategic account management.

  • Drive standardized work processes across all Electrical Sector businesses to support a unified go-to-market strategy.

  • Act as a primary liaison with various project teams to introduce and enhance digital tools that improve productivity and efficiency within the agent community.

  • Champion the annual Agent Advisory Council and industry association meetings.

  • Drive integration teams during acquisitions to facilitate agent consolidations and provide strategic analysis and recommendations.

  • Oversee the continuous update and consistent management of all agent contracts, ensuring adherence to legal and ethical standards.

  • Ensure the integrity and accuracy of the agent database to meet internal audit standards and support strategic decision-making

  • Develop and deliver targeted training programs and strategic support to enhance agent capabilities and performance.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • 5+ years’ experience in sales/sales management working with manufacturer representatives; 10+ years preferred.

  • Experience in channel sales working for a growth oriented, dynamic industry leader with knowledge of electrical solutions.

  • Proven ability to work in a highly matrix structure across multiple business, sales teams, and manufacturer representatives.

  • Experience with agent contracts and legal and ethical standards.

  • History of success in relationship building and working effectively in a functional work role.

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution.

  • Ability to travel 30%

  • Possess and maintain a valid and unrestricted driver’s license.

  • Legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $153749.97 - $225499.96 a year. This role is also eligible for a variable incentive program.
