Delaware North Catering Operations Manager, Elevate Catering in Atlanta, Georgia

The Opportunity

Delaware North is hiring a Catering Operations Manager to join our team at Elevate Catering located at the TKE Tower in Atlanta, Georgia. As a Catering Operations Manager, you will partner with our General Manager and Catering Sales Manager to ensure all catering operations run efficiently to create memorable experiences for guests.

Pay

Minimum – Anticipated Maximum Base Salary: $46100 - $62200 / year

In addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. The advertised pay range represents what we believe at the time of this job posting, that we would be willing to pay for this position. Only in special circumstances, where a candidate has education, training, or experience that far exceeds the requirements for the position, would we consider paying higher than the stated range. Responsibilities

  • Lead training, scheduling, and supervising of team members from the catering department

  • Monitor food and beverage orders produce daily sales and accounts receivable reports

  • Prepare operational reports, and keep records of purchases, requisitions, and liquor logs

  • Monitor customer service feedback and develop standards of service that are shared with the catering team

  • Assist with menu pricing strategies for optimizing cost and control

  • Develop and maintain positive client relationships

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years' supervisory experience in a catering environment

  • Prior experience working in a hotel setting is highly preferred

  • Knowledge of food preparation, inventory, and cost control measures

  • Excellent verbal communication and supervisory skills

  • Ability to analyze and make data-driven decisions

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. with constant bending and other repetitive motions

  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time including outdoors in all weather
