Who we are looking for: (Auction Inspector Lead)As an Auction Inspector Lead, you will be a part of a growing automobile inspection company. AIM is looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and experienced individual who has a background and knowledge in the automotive field as well as experience with supervision.
Summary: In this role you will be responsible for supervising the work of Auction Inspectors at a fixed- site third-party facility. You will train the inspectors, audit their work, and perform inspections when time permits. All inspections are performed using a mobile device equipped with proprietary inspection software. Inspections are performed in compliance with the client’s inspection routine and guidelines. The Auction Facility Lead may also have to work cooperatively with our site customer as well as other vendors or contractors assigned to the facility. This role is for you if you have a keen eye for detail, are looking for a position where you can use your communication skills and are willing to be out and about leading, training and inspecting vehicles during daylight and in all weather conditions.

What you will need:
High School diploma or equivalent required
1-3 years of experience in the automobile field (i.e, body mechanic shop, inspections, etc.) including some supervisorial duties
Body, paint and mechanical knowledge a plus
Valid state issued driver’s license and safe driving record required
Ability to operate a motor vehicle
Ability to stand, walk or sit for prolonged periods of time
Ability to bend, stoop, squat or kneel
Ability to hold at least 10 lbs for an extended period
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
Vision abilities required including close, distance and color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
Regular and consistent availability and attendance
