Emory University Associate Professor or Professor-Genital Urinary program in Atlanta, Georgia
The Department of Hematology and Medical Oncology and the Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia are recruiting a leader for the Genital Urinary program. The candidate will lead the program, provide patient services, teach, and conduct clinical investigations. The successful candidate will have a strong track record of clinical and translational investigations, leadership in national/international collaborative efforts, ability to mentor early and mid-career faculty members and excellent clinical skills in medical oncology. Responsibilities for this position include leading the group of breast medical oncologists, developing a clinical trials portfolio with a strong emphasis on investigator-initiated clinical research, collaborate with other specialties, participate in the scientific programs of the Winship Cancer Insittute and teaching. The candidate is expected to be an Associate Professor or Full Professor in rank. The Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University is a National Cancer Institute designated cancer center. Hematology and Medical Oncology is an autonomous academic department in the Emory University School of Medicine, with programs located at Emory University Hospital, Emory University Hospital Midtown, Emory Saint Joseph’s Hospital, the Atlanta Veterans’ Administration Medical Center, and Grady Memorial Hospital.
