We are offering an exciting opportunity for a full-time, on-site, contract-to-permanent Payroll Clerk position in Athens, Tennessee, United States. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the timekeeping system and preparing payroll on a bi-weekly basis. You will also handle child support, insurance, deductions, and changes for new employees.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the company's timekeeping system to ensure accurate record-keeping

• Process payroll bi-weekly, ensuring all employees are paid accurately and on time

• Manage deductions such as child support and insurance, ensuring all relevant information is captured and processed correctly

• Administer changes for new employees, including setting up direct deposits and assisting with onboarding procedures

• Submit ACH files for processing to achieve 100% direct deposit across the company

• Utilize ADP for payroll taxes, ensuring all tax obligations are met accurately and timely

• Handle terminations efficiently, ensuring all necessary procedures are followed and records are updated

• Conduct regular audits and data entry tasks to maintain accurate records and ensure compliance

Requirements • Proficiency in ADP - Payroll system to ensure smooth payroll operations

• Experience with New Employee Orientations to facilitate seamless integration of new team members

• Knowledge of Payroll - Garnishments to handle any deductions from employees' wages as required by law

• Strong audit skills to ensure accuracy and compliance of payroll records

• Proficient in Data Entry to maintain accurate payroll information

• Understanding of Deductions to accurately compute employee pay and benefits

• Familiarity with Termination processes to ensure correct final pay disbursements
