Titan America Junior Developer in Athens, Greece
TITAN Greece has an excellent opportunity for a Junior Developer for our Head Office in Athens. The position reports to the IT Business Applications Manager. This role is responsible for building and implementing software solutions by collaborating with Senior Developers and Business user groups.
Main Responsibilities
Work with software & applications development team to design algorithms and flowcharts
Produce clean and efficient code, based on project delivery specifications
Integrate software components and third-party programs
Support development, testing & production environment stack, automated application, code migration processes and deployment processes
Participate in the improvement, communication, and enforcement of configuration engineering processes for software applications developed or acquired.
Troubleshoot application configuration issues in sandboxed, development & production environments
Maintain versioning control methodology (GIT, TFS) and planned revisioning of application bug fixes, version upgrades and new features
Continually evaluate tools and technologies to improve the overall release process.
Verify and deploy programs and systems
Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing software
Gather and evaluate user feedback
Create technical documentation for reference and reporting
Candidate Profile
BSc degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or relevant field
1-2 years of experience in software engineering
Hands-on experience in designing & developing applications using Visual Studio, Copilot Studio, Familiar with Power Apps, Power Automation, SharePoint, C#, .NET
Hands-on experience with Java, JavaScript, SQL, Spring, Git, Linux, Cloud Platforms
Familiarization with configuring and managing databases and storage types (i.e.Postgresql, SQL, MySQL, Dataverse)
Understanding of core software engineering principles and practices such as Object-Oriented Design, Domain Driven Design, Test Driven Development, Behavior Driven Development, CI/CD
Interacts with internal/external partners and business stakeholders
Test Driven Development approach and openminded
Self-motivated and able to work with limited supervision, passionate about learning with a drive for excellence
Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written, in Greek and English
