Amazon Enterprise Sales Account Manager / Account Executive - Greece in Athens, Greece

Would you like to be part of a team focused on increasing adoption of Amazon Web Services by engaging in large Enterprise accounts?

Do you have the business and technical background necessary to help establishing Amazon as a key technology platform provider?

As an Enterprise Account Manager, you will have the exciting opportunity to help promote the growth and shape the future of an emerging technology. Your responsibility will be to increase the market penetration of AWS in Large Enterprise accounts in Greece. The ideal candidate will possess both a business and technical background that enables them to engage C-level executives, line of business leaders, as well as technology professionals, including software developers and IT architects. He/she should also be a self-starter who is prepared to develop and execute against a territory coverage plan. In this role, you will represent the entire portfolio of AWS across some of the highest profile commercial organizations in Greece, including existing customers and new ones to develop as significant, strategic AWS customers.

Key job responsibilities

  • Promote AWS services in a defined territory or industry vertical.

  • Develop and execute against a comprehensive account/territory plan.

  • Create & articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services.

  • Facilitate customer adoption.

  • Maintain a robust projects pipeline.

  • Work with partners to extend reach and promote adoption.

  • Contribute to positive customer experience.

  • Expect moderate travel.

A day in the life

• Meet with customers to support their adoption of AWS services;

• Work with other internal teams like solution architects and specialists to develop sales strategies and successful go-to-market engagements to achieve customer outcomes;

• Use AWS services to enable innovation and transformation in the customer organization;

• Deliver against a combination of agreed quantitative and qualitative goals;

• Develop and work with partners to extend the reach and drive AWS cloud adoption

• Engage in a way that ensures an outstanding customer experience

Basic Qualifications

  • Strong verbal and written communications skills in Greek and English.

  • Experience as a quota carrying technology field sales individual, or business development professional

  • Experience increasing technology adoption and creating long term transformational account strategies

  • Experience working with and presenting to C-level executives, IT, and other lines of business

  • Demonstrated success in identifying, developing, negotiating, and closing large-scale technology projects to Enterprise Customers

Preferred Qualifications

  • Self-starter, able to work independently and autonomously to build cross functional teams within a matrix organization and able to manage multiple internal stakeholders

  • Proven ability to win and drive successful customer outcomes, often in an ambiguous environment.

  • Experience selling cloud solutions

  • Strong understanding of AWS and/or Cloud technology (e.g., AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner)

  • A technical or educational background in engineering, computer science or MBA is a plus
