Position summary
Responsible for the efficient, effective, flawless End-to-End management of Innovation & Renovation (I&R) projects of any complexity. The Specialist defines and leads nutrition innovation and renovation strategies, manages product development and launch, collaborates with cross-functional teams, and identifies growth opportunities in the LATAM nutrition market.
A day in the life of...
Lead innovation and renovation projects from identification to final delivery.
Deliver innovation and renovation strategies in nutrition for the LATAM zone.
Manage cross-functional project teams with an entrepreneurial mindset and a focus on operational excellence.
Develope timelines (GANNT) for projects and ensure the completion of every step, working very closely with multiple parties (marketing, regulatory, demand supply planning, technical, factories, procurement, etc).
Drive timely preparation of the Business Opportunity, Business Case and Business Plan along the flow
Drive Opportunity and Risk Management and escalating critical issues to Decider(s)
Coordinate and facilitate project meetings including kick-off meeting, kick-start meetings, check-in meetings, regular project meetings, risk assessments, post launch reviews and additional meetings or workshops as required
Provide transparency, documentation and communication of project status and risk to cross functional team members, Project Management Lead and Deciders
Lead Stakeholders management across functions: identify stakeholders, distribute responsibilities among project team and ensure proper communication
What will make you successful
2 to 3 years of project management experience
Demonstrated leadership skills within a cross-functional team
Previous knowledge of SAP
Experience working in a matrix-like structure
Problem-solving abilities
Strong communication skills in English and Spanish
Customer and consumer understanding
Business and technical understanding in the food industry
Knowledge of innovation content in a specific functional area (e.g., marketing, R&D, manufacturing)
Familiarity with regulatory affairs, intellectual property, contracting/legal, compliance, and finance
Project management competencies acquired through internal or external certification
Deep knowledge of I2L (Idea to Launch / I&R / R&D) principles and ways of working
Strong organizational skills
Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
