Job Title: Carpenter Lead
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Carpenter Lead who will oversee and manage repair and assembly teams. This role involves ensuring quality control, compliance with safety standards, and coordinating activities with other departments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting inspections, assigning tasks, and performing a variety of assembly and repair projects.
Responsibilities
Lead and supervise teams of technicians, assemblers, and repair personnel.
Provide training to ensure efficient execution of repair and assembly tasks.
Monitor the entire repair and assembly process to prevent delays and ensure adherence to quality standards.
Oversee compliance with safety protocols and regulations.
Communicate with team members about production schedules, materials needed, and any changes.
Coordinate repair and assembly activities with other departments such as engineering and logistics.
Conduct regular inspections to verify that repaired and assembled products meet quality requirements.
Ensure all safety equipment is in good working order.
Assign tasks based on specialized skills or knowledge.
Manage task assignments and shift changes according to production requirements.
Oversee and perform tasks and projects such as assembling new products, configuring seats, and repairing bleacher decks.
Ensure all specialty items are serviceable and in a usable condition.
Maintain proper accountability of all tools utilized in the yard.
Ensure all equipment in the yard is serviceable and suitable for safe use.
Inspect equipment for damaged or broken pieces, making repairs where suitable and recommending disposal when applicable.
Essential Skills
Experience in assembly, framing, metal stud construction, and carpentry.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Proficiency in rough and finish carpentry.
Self-motivated with the ability to lead and manage a team.
Ability to load and unload materials from various vehicles.
Experience in moving pallet-packed materials around the site or storage facility.
Performing equipment checks and basic maintenance.
Following written instructions and keeping accurate records.
Adhering to health and safety regulations.
Completing physical tasks quickly and accurately.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in assembling and repairing material used on jobs.
Experience in directing a transient and ever-changing workforce.
Ability to work in outdoor environments.

Work Environment
This position requires working in an outdoor environment. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with overtime as needed.
