To learn more, visit www.sealedair.com. Position Summary We are seeking a self-driven, team-oriented, passionate-about-people professional to join our leadership team in Ashland! The Senior HR Generalist is the "go-to" HR Partner on all matters associated with the HR function at the site level, including employee relations, employee life cycle management (hiring, onboarding, performance, offboarding), training, communications, discipline, employee engagement, benefits, workers compensation, and HR projects. This role also supports a number of remote/corporate employees as well. Key Responsibilities Oversee the day-to-day operations of the HR function Complete and handle actions associated with the employee life cycle Maintain close contact with the HR team and business operations team Assist with recruitment tasks as needed (e.g. interviews) Coach, counsel, and guide managers before the execution of employee disciplinary actions Support corporate initiatives (i.e. DE&I, wellbeing initiatives, attendance) Drive people processes to ensure that employees meet current and future standards Participate and/or manage specific projects as determined in the HR planning process Ensure cyclical processes are completed timely (goalsetting, performance reviews, engagement survey) Support line management in forecasting and planning talent pipeline requirements Education, Experience and Skills Bachelor's degree in a related field (required) 3-5 years of HR generalist work experience in a manufacturing environment Understanding of employment laws, principles, and practices Ability to independently problem-solve Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel Experience with HRIS and payroll systems and reporting Strong analytical, prioritization, interpersonal, teamwork, presentation, resource management, project management (from conception to completion) and planning skills PHR or SPHR certification helpful Experience with AI is helpful Top Focus Areas Building relationships with the business, including the HR team (remote), operations (on-site), and production employees (on-site; all shifts).
