Description
Summary/Objective:This position is responsible for the accurate entry, coding, classification and warehousing of incoming and outgoing materials and inventory. Preparing outbound shipments and securing trucks/riggers where needed.
While performing all duties and responsibilities, the employee will at all times, model Hardinge Inc. values and principles and act in a manner consistent with the Hardinge Inc. Code of Conduct and adhered to safety protocols.

Sign for and log incoming materials to the inventory system.
Coordinate with vendors, customers, production, and customer service team to schedule and arrange incoming and outgoing shipments.
Package shipments and prepare BOLs, commercial invoices, exporting and other documentation for outbound shipments.
Arrange trucks and riggers for both inbound and outbound shipments.
Properly tag incoming materials and store in the correct location.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Assist with pulling parts to fulfil work orders as needed

Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record.
Work Environment:The normal work environment is a warehouse setting. The noise level in the work environment does not exceed 85 decibels.
Physical Demands:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to talk, hear and otherwise communicate with employees, management and others. This position requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs., bend, stoop, and reach. Employees may be expected to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:This is a full-time position. Typical days and hours of work are Monday through Friday.
Travel:Local pick-up or deliveries on a as needed basis.
Required Education and Experience:
High School Diploma
Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record
Ability to use a forklift, pallet jack and banding equipment
Preferred Education and Experience:Three to five years of related experience. Systems and data entry experience a plus.
