Position Summary

The Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for fulfilling all orders received, error-free and on time, delivering on our promise of “Order by 3pm, shipped same day”. Additionally, this position is responsible for inventory control, stock rotation, daily activity reporting, special projects, and communication with our Customer Support Staff.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Order Fulfillment: Pull, pack and ship product. Make appropriate substitutions for backordered product.

  • Inventory Management: Monitor inventory. Communicate shortages and outages with support & purchasing personnel. Anticipate supply & demand trends, and act accordingly.

  • External/Internal Mail Distribution: Distribute daily incoming packages to appropriate persons or departments, including specimens, temperature-sensitive items, and high-value items.

    Essential Job Duties

  • Follow SOP related to shipping, receiving and inventory management control including printing orders, assembling all ordered items, packaging loose items, weighing packages, and data entry of shipping information.

  • Generate and print custody control forms and requisitions for accounts, ensuring accuracy and legibility.

  • Receive new product, accurately count, and document receipts, rotate stock based on expiration dates, and send documentation to the accounting department.

  • Complete weekly physical inventories of all products.

  • Communicate shortages and anticipated shortages to support and purchasing.

  • Communicate respectfully with other departments by phone and email, Maintain security and document/report problems to the appropriate supervisor or Human Resources.

  • Distribute daily incoming packages to appropriate persons or departments, including specimens, temperature-sensitive items, and high-value items.

  • Maintain records and physical space in a neat and organized manner.

    Position Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Reliable transportation

  • Ability to manage large, fluctuating volumes of work.

  • Able to stand for extended periods of time.

  • Strong PC, keyboarding and typing skills.

  • Strong customer focus

  • Able to occasionally lift and carry 40 lbs.

  • Able to retrieve and place materials and packaging on shelves above head.

  • Experience with ShipStation Software is a plus.
