Job Summary and Qualifications

Responsible for the operational function of Linen throughout the Health System. This includes the direction of the following functions for the Health System: Inventory Control, Utilization, and Linen Distribution. Develops and implements goals and strategies that support the strategic plan and objectives of Mission Health. Insures that customer service levels are exceptional and continually directs improvements to supply chain processes. Foster an environment of participation, teamwork, and professional growth among division staff. Will lead improvement activities to insure Mission Health has a world-class supply chain. Will lead efforts in system implementation, integration, educating users, and improving supply chain processes across the Health System and its affiliates.

What you will do in this role:

  • Lead and direct the overall business processes related to Laundry for the Health system through effective management of daily operations and logistics for all linen needs of the Health System.

  • Leads, manages, and works collaboratively to foster the integration and the implementation of products, linen processes and best practices across Mission Health System, to include Member Affiliate Hospitals.

  • Responsible for overall direction of all Inventory control, Customer Service, Distribution and Logistics systems to insure all systems meet key performance indicators such as fill rates, inventory turnover rates, etc.

  • Maintains /directs processes that meet or exceed customer’s expectations across Mission Health, with relation to Laundry areas of responsibility.

  • Plans for present and future Linen and logistics needs.

  • Coordinates, develops, and delivers training for all functional areas.

What qualifications you will need:

  • Required Education: Associate’s Degree or 4 years of Healthcare Laundry leadership experience

  • Preferred Education: Bachelor’s Degree

  • Required License: NC driver license

  • Preferred License: CDL license

  • Required Experience: 3 years’ experience in Laundry/ Supply Chain processes and a working knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Excel, Access, Word)

  • Preferred Experience: Demonstrated Implementation / project management experience and a working knowledge of Linen Software.
