Location Description The Post Consumer Brands plant in Asheboro, NC is the newest addition to the company's network, featuring some of the most modern cereal production technology in the industry and the facility has quadrupled in size since it opened in 2007. Asheboro's 230+ team members produce some of our newest and most innovative cereals, like Oreo O's cereal! While there is plenty to do right in Asheboro, the town is only a few hours from the Atlantic Ocean in one direction and the Blue Ridge Mountains in the other direction. Responsibilities Why You Want to Work at Post Pay range $22.50/hour Night Shift differential $1/hour 3 weeks PTO for new hires Target 7.5% annual bonus target Clean and highly automated facility Air conditioned plant Free take-home cereal Tuition assistance Wellness program with quarterly cash payout PPE provided or reimbursed by the company Uniforms provided and cleaned by the company (401k) with 6% match Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, and Disability benefits Work Schedule 5:30 PM - 5:50 AM 2-2-3 schedule with in built-in overtime and every other weekend off Week one: 2 days on - 2 days off - 3 days on Week two: 2 days off - 2 days on - 3 days off Job Activities/Duties: This position is responsible for accurate receiving, storing, picking and loading of product using powered mobile equipment. Expectations include: Safe operation of powered mobile equipment (forklift/clamp truck) Safe and accurate shipping and receiving of orders to and from our internal and external customers Verifying location, item and count through a Warehouse Management System Evaluating quality of products ensuring they are shippable and taking necessary corrective action Optimizing loads to reduce damage and ensure ease of unloading at destination Accurately completing appropriate documentation Assisting with the sanitation of warehouse and keeping the facility always audit ready Qualifications Education: High School Diploma or GED Experience: At least 3 years of warehouse, manufacturing, or related experience is preferred Skills: • Intermediate level warehouse knowledge to include the ability to understand the operation of department equipment • Ability to work within a team environment and communicate effectively and efficiently within the team • Ability to use RF Handheld Scanner, operator a sitdown forklift, and operate a clamp forklift after successful completion of forklift certification • Ability to follow detailed work instructions Basic computer skills for data entry and taking photos Must be able to read, write, and communicate in the English language Other Requirements: Valid Drivers License Regular attendance Willing to work overtime when needed Good communication skills Not afraid of heights Work well with others Understands the importance of and seeks opportunities for Continuous Improvement
