Pay: $15.50
What’s the Job?
Must train on 1st shift for 2 weeks, then transfer to 2nd shift.
The Sanitation Technician is responsible for ensuring that established sanitation practices are followed, that lines are cleaned to the required level of microbiological sanitation, the facility and equipment are kept clean, and that infestation is prevented.
What’s Needed?
· Must have good attention to detail and be able to spot sanitation issues in the plant.
· Must have a good understanding of machinery and what areas of different machines require specific attention during cleaning.
· Must be able to disassemble and reassemble various pieces of machinery correctly.
· Must be able to comprehend and follow all safety rules and requirements including but not limited to Lock Out / Tag Out (LOTO), and Fall Protection.
· Must be able to complete documentation requirements in a correct and timely fashion.
· Must be able to comprehend and use ATP swabbing equipment, record results, and react to any out of spec results.
· Must be able to maintain good interpersonal communications with co-workers, employees from other departments, and superiors.
