Purpose & Scope:

This position is an entry-level analyst position that develops Workday application solutions by investigating processes to understand data and workflows with individual tasks and transactions. Participates in Information Systems group projects to support new and installed systems with a particular focus on Workday and other business systems for Virginia Hospital Center. Provide application support to meet the requirements of assigned user departments working in conjunction with department system owners and super-users. Work closely with the Principal Analyst to assure timely response to user requests for software maintenance and enhancement. Additional responsibilities include: planning, design, testing, documentation, training, implementation, and ongoing support activities; working with functional management and staff to define problems and devise solutions; performing work-flow analysis in user areas; quality control; problem and change management. Serve as team member for new systems or enhancements.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in information systems, health information management, healthcare related field, or in a related field is preferred.

Experience:

One year of systems analysis is required.

One year of systems implementation is required.

One year of experience in the healthcare field is preferred.

Workday Supply Chain Management experience required.

Certification/Licensure:

None.
