The opportunity

EY is on the lookout for a dynamic Consulting Manager with SAP experience and expertise in SAP transformations to build our National Consulting Cybersecurity team. In this role, you will offer specialized advice and create customized cybersecurity solutions for SAP environments, ensuring the protection of our clients' critical information assets. This role demands a blend of in-depth technical knowledge, strategic insight, and outstanding consulting skills. You will evaluate our clients' cybersecurity posture within SAP ecosystems, identify vulnerabilities, and recommend strategies to bolster security.

Your key responsibilities

As a Manager in our Cybersecurity Architecture team, you will be at the forefront of designing and implementing robust security infrastructure that aligns with our business requirements. You will play a pivotal role in delivering cyber services, managing operations, and ensuring seamless deployments and upgrades. Your role will bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions, supporting development and engineering teams with end-to-end management. Key responsibilities include:

  • Crafting and defining security architecture for new and existing systems

  • Managing deployments, upgrades, configuration updates, and technology rationalizations

  • Supporting development and engineering teams with comprehensive end-to-end management

  • Leading the design and execution of cybersecurity strategies that seamlessly integrate with SAP applications and align with client goals.

  • Conducting hands-on management of risk assessments, penetration testing, and security audits to verify security effectiveness and regulatory compliance.

  • Developing and delivering cybersecurity training and awareness programs for clients' SAP users and IT personnel.

  • Identifying business development opportunities in cybersecurity and SAP services and driving sales initiatives.

  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices with a commitment to stay current with the latest threats, trends, and advancement, including updates and patches for SAP software

  • Effective project management and problem-solving abilities.

  • Excellent communication skills that foster strong client relationships and establish you as a trusted advisor in cybersecurity and SAP matters.

  • Active contribution to thought leadership and knowledge sharing within EY's global network, enhancing the firm's reputation as a leader in cybersecurity and SAP consulting.

  • Leadership and mentorship capabilities to nurture the next generation of consultants

  • Capability to identify additional service opportunities and lead RFP responses

  • Proficiency in managing engagement economics, resource planning, and budgeting

  • A willingness to travel as needed to meet client requirements and project demands.

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • A Bachelor's degree in a related technical field

  • 4 - 6 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity consulting, with a strong focus cybersecurity architecture in SAP environments

  • Proven track record of successfully delivering cybersecurity projects and change management within SAP ecosystems.

  • Deep knowledge of SAP security architecture, SAP GRC, and SAP HANA cybersecurity concepts.

  • Expertise in core cybersecurity domains such as Identity Access Management (IAM), Data Protection, and Vulnerability Management, with a specific focus on integration within the SAP landscape.

  • Knowledge of international cybersecurity standards and frameworks, such as ISO 27001, NIST, and ITIL.

  • Strong project management skills & excellent technical writing abilities

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Professional certifications like CISSP, CISM, CISA, or SAP Certified Technology Associate - System Security Architect.

  • The ability to adapt to a multicultural environment.

  • The skill to present complex information clearly and persuasively to clients.

What we offer

We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $143,500 to $263,200. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $172,200 to $299,100. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Join us in our team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year. Under our flexible vacation policy, you’ll decide how much vacation time you need based on your own personal circumstances. You’ll also be granted time off for designated EY Paid Holidays, Winter/Summer breaks, Personal/Family Care, and other leaves of absence when needed to support your physical, financial, and emotional well-being.
