Description

Amazon is looking for a customer obsessed, results- oriented and innovative individual looking to join the Amazon Canada team aimed at driving process efficiency, reduce defect and deliver financial savings for our selling partners through continuous process improvements. The role is focused to looking at long term sustainable product solutions that will make vendor onboarding, product listing, selection and vendor education more seamless to continue driving the Amazon flywheel.

Key job responsibilities

• Work with worldwide product teams and Amazon Canada business teams to identify and prioritize high improvement opportunities for vendors

• Lead process improvement projects to address key cross functional issues ranging from new item set up, buyability troubleshooting, financial disputes and more

• Deliver financial savings through new product launches by automated key manual tasks

• Drive consistency of process, training and reporting across functional teams

• Provide periodic project updates, including major successes/challenges to senior management

• Manage and constantly improve the ideation to implementation process

• Conduct internal retail team trainings across the new tool launches

• Strong analytical skills

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

  • Experience with end to end product delivery

  • Experience as a product manager or owner

  • Experience owning technology products

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights

  • Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $110,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
