Position Summary:

Nestle USA’s will develop and implement a world class Strategic Revenue Management capability spanning pricing and promotions strategy. The SRM Sr. Analyst will work across our functional teams to both construct and uncover key insights from consolidating and analyzing existing data. This team member will bring a deep understanding of data management, visualization, and storyline development. This position requires initiative and a proactive approach to identifying trends and communicating opportunities.

The SRM Senior analyst will have a deep experience with Syndicated Data (Scan and Panel), Retailer POS, Internal Financial/Shipment data in order to perform rigorous data analyses that will help the SRM team and NUSA Divisions make critical pricing, promotions and customer and product mix decisions. Proficiency with data visualization applications such as Microsoft PowerBI or Tableau is preferred.

Primary Responsibilities:

Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

  • Help develop SRM strategies and tactics, monitor implementation, and evaluate performance on an ongoing basis

  • Leverage internal operational and external consumption data, as well as qualitative insights, to create analyses, reports and results-oriented stories for key products and product categories

  • Report on pricing and promotions performance across brands, products, regions and accounts to gain insights into pricing and promotional efficiency and to uncover new opportunities for NUSA brands to lead across the SRM levers.

  • Heavy user of pricing and Trade Promotion Optimization and assortment tools to develop actionable recommendations based on analyses (including working with syndicated data, product volume, Nestle and Retailer margin, sales contribution and market share).

  • Present and facilitate discussions on recommendations to cross functional groups.

  • Provide analytical support to brand/marketing and other functions in determining pricing and promotion guidelines for products by brand, as well as to sales on specific pricing and promotions decisions

  • Build dynamic tools & reporting solutions that empower teams to make sound pricing, promotion and assortment decisions.

  • Provide analytical support to assist in building pricing financial targets and drive collaboration discussion on those targets.

Requirements and Minimum Education Level:

  • Bachelor's degree required

  • 3-5 years of CPG business experience (Sales, Finance, Marketing, Analytics or related area)

  • Proficiency in data analysis, reporting/visualization, insights & data-driven storytelling

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of the consumer packaged goods industry

  • Comfort working with external consumption data and internal financial data

  • Experience interacting with large sets of quantitative data (ex. Syndicated Data, Internal Financial Data)

  • Proficiency in analyzing qualitative research and external data sources to uncover relevant insights and turn them into compelling stories that drive action


  • Advanced Excel

  • Highly analytical, strong critical thinker: Ability to perform complicated analyses - structure the problem, collect and validate data, identify issues, and present results

  • Good business sense: Ability to apply insights from data analysis that are financially viable for the business, but with a focus on practical implementation

  • Extremely flexible: able to prioritize work on short notice, manage multiple short and long-term deliverables simultaneously

  • Results-orientated: Sense of ownership and follow-through, attention to detail

  • Communication: able to translate complex information into easy to understand business insights to influence internal partners

  • Teamwork: ability to effectively integrate into a team of commercial business leaders and technical professionals while understanding the team’s functional role in the larger organization
