Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in Arlington, Virginia. The role predominantly involves supporting a system implementation by migrating data into NetSuite. As a Sr. Accountant, you will be working in a dynamic environment where attention to detail and ability to multitask are essential.
Responsibilities:
• Implementing system by transferring data into NetSuite
• Handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Managing and tracking bank transactions
• Conducting Balance Sheet Reconciliation
• Overseeing the processing of credit cards
• Maintaining the General Ledger
• Creating and reviewing Journal Entries
• Using Microsoft Excel for data management and tracking
• Ensuring accuracy of the Trial Balance. Requirements • Proficiency in Balance Sheet Reconciliation
• Expertise in General Ledger management
• Experience with Journal Entries
• High level of competency in Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge and usage of NetSuite software
• Ability to handle Trial Balance
• Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP)
• Experience in managing Accounts Receivable (AR)
