Amazon Senior Marketing Program Manager, Amazon IT in Arlington, Virginia

Description

Amazon IT Communications and Marketing is seeking a curious, self-motivated, and creative marketing professional who is looking to apply their skills and experience in innovative ways. An ideal candidate will want to be part of a team that does nothing but think about ways to more effectively collaborate with colleagues while working to craft upper funnel awareness campaigns and enable messaging channels that will support strategies across Amazon IT products, services, and initiatives. In this role, you will help develop and manage the roadmap for upper funnel awareness campaigns, help set go-to-market strategies, and develop the customer sentiment program.

We’re looking for a candidate who can exercise high judgement and interface directly with leadership and stakeholders to help deliver key narratives, content, and events while leveraging data and communications insights to optimize the customer experience. The ideal candidate will have a background in developing marketing or communications campaigns, testing and learning from data insights, and scaling programs globally. You will have strong verbal and written communications skills and be comfortable taking initiative, operating at a global scale, understanding cultural and local preferences, and working across teams in an agile environment. Your peers are level-headed, top-notch performers who insist on high standards, advocate passionately for customers, and proactively take the lead when necessary.

Key job responsibilities

  • Manage key cross-organizational relationships and provide Amazon IT perspective and counsel

  • Develop upper-funnel marketing channel roadmap that drives conversion to key customer segments

  • Support go-to-market activities for product, services, and program launches globally

  • Support Communications Managers in scaling product or program initiatives to customer groups

  • Support design work or creative strategy development

Basic Qualifications

  • 6+ years of marketing experience

  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements

  • Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)

  • Experience developing and executing campaigns across a multitude of timezones and languages

  • Experience communicating results to senior leadership

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience designing and executing joint marketing plans with strategic alliance partners with global footprint

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $106,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
