Summary About the Position: This position is with the National Guard Bureau, CIO/G-6, ENT Application Division, Software SUST Branch, Arlington VA. About the Surrounding Area: Situated in Northern Virginia on the south bank of the Potomac River directly across from Washington D.C. Arlington is headquarters to many departments and agencies of the federal government, including the Department of Defense and is the location of many national memorials and museums. Responsibilities Serve as a subject matter authority on Information Technology (IT) metrics, Installation Status Report (ISR), Director, Resource Management (DRM), and General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBs). Distribute assigned Management Decision Evaluation Package (MDEP) Annual Funding Program (AFP) to the States, Territories and District of Columbia on an annual basis. Provide authoritative guidance, information, and interpretations of matters relating to Planning, Programming Budgeting and Execution (PPBE). Provide guidance in the preparation of various program reviews. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: preparing program planning guidance in accordance with agency program policies; using automated systems to define program resources; delivering presentations to high-level managers to resolve financial issues; analyzing organizational regulations and policies to monitor, track and control financial resources. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Information Management Organizational Awareness Planning and Evaluating Problem Solving Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11). For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted. Additional Information Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration. You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship. One year trial/probationary period may be required. Direct deposit of pay is required. Incumbent of this position is required to comply with all Department of Defense and Department of the Army requirements of this certification program. This certification requirement is a condition of employment for this position. Failure to obtain this certification within the required time may subject the incumbent to adverse action. The certificate is required within 24 month of entry on duty.
