What You’ll Be Doing

The Cadmus Group seeks a motivated early career professional withexpertiseinpolicies and proceduresonadministrative functions, knowledge management,and developingStandard Operating Proceduresand otherproductsand an interestto further equity goals for the federal workforce to join our Climate Line of Business.

ThePolicies and ProceduresLead Analyst will support our work with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) National Ocean Service (NOS) to help achieve its human capital and equity goals. This position willsupport the organizationonestablishingand updating policies and procedures on administrative functions and creating a common repository with an established process formaintainingand sustaining the completed products. The Policies andProceduresLead Analyst willwork with other contractors and federal staff todeterminecourse topics and theappropriate subject-matterexperts, as necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and updatepolicies and procedures on administrative functions.

  • Createa common repository with an established process formaintainingand sustaining the completed products.  This may include Standard Operating Procedures, fact sheets, checklists, and other documented products.

  • analytical methods and techniques to performing management studies and detailed analyses.

  • Write and communicateclear guidelines, including financial and administrative.

  • Provide subject matterexpertiseinprinciples, practices, and proceduresinadministrationandmanagement 

  • Some domestic travel may berequired.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university. and a minimum oftwoyears’ experience in a relevant field (e.g.,business process analysis,organizational change management and/or design, operations).A master’s degree in a relevant field may be substituted for two years’ experience.

  • Excellent analytic, communication (oral and written), research, and presentation skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to self-edit and quality-check all work.

  • Ability to apply analytical and evaluative methods used to gather, analyze, and evaluate information about organizational design and management processes.

  • Comprehensive and detailed knowledge and understanding of a recognized organizational administrative or management function, including policies, precedents, and procedures.

  • Ability to apply this knowledge to achieve administrative or programobjectives.

  • Ability toidentifyproblems, propose solutions, and defend recommendations.

  • Ability to manage tasks and deadlines across multiple projects.

  • Proficiencyin relevant software programs including Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite.

  • Candidate must be willing and able to travel, as some domestic travel may be required.

  • Able to pass a U.S. federal government background check and public trust clearance process - requires US Citizenship.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience working with the federal government in general or the Department of Commerce / NOAA in particular.

Theminimumstarting salary for this position is $60,000.The actual salary may be higher and will bedeterminedby several factors, including relevant work experience, education, skills, and market competitiveness.
