Description
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Executive Assistant to support leaders in our AWS Professional Services organization.
The Executive Assistant in this position will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless functioning of the Director's office. This position requires an individual who thrives in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment, possesses exceptional organizational skills, and is able to maintain a high level of attention to detail.
We are looking for a well organized and self-motivated individual with a history of high performance who is able to organization and prioritization multiple critical requests in order to meet tight deadlines. The role requires a high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information, and professionalism in dealing with leaders (both internal and external to Amazon) is important, as is the ability to be flexible and change direction seamlessly. The successful candidate will be able to complete complex tasks and projects quickly with little guidance, react with appropriate urgency to situations, and raise the bar in the Amazon Leadership Principals to take on varied and exciting new projects and learn new skills.
In this role, the Executive Assistant will need to take effective action without having the total picture, and efficiently and proactively solve difficult or complex problems that affect people within the department or other related groups.
Key job responsibilities
Proactively coordinate and engage with leadership in planning and organizing events, activities and calendars
Management of complex calendars, scheduling requirements, and prioritization of executive's tasks and appointments according to their importance, urgency, and relevance.
Act as a liaison for direct reports and business stakeholders
Extensive travel coordination (international and domestic)
Participate in planning of events and drive key team activities (staff meetings, all-hands meetings, supply ordering)
Work alongside other executive assistants within the org and throughout AWS to drive best practices and cross collaboration of efficiencies

Working in a highly ambiguous environment, you will complete tasks and projects quickly and with little to no guidance, and take effective action without having to know the total picture. You will apply a superior attention to detail, great organizational skills, and the ability to meet tight deadlines and juggle multiple critical requests while maintaining flexibility, a sense of humor, and most importantly, grace under pressure. You will understand business priorities, demonstrate the ability to proactively anticipate needs, and drive improvements to build capacity for the leaders and their teams. Over time, you will build deep and trusting professional relationships with the leaders and their teams, which will blossom into strong partnerships that provide opportunity for special projects with increased responsibility and long-term career growth.

Basic Qualifications
2+ years of senior level leadership support experience
Experience managing multiple executive level calendars
Experience with domestic and international travel coordination
