You act as the subject matter expert on a variety of best office procedures, programs, and operations to provide administrative support to our government client. These tasks include scheduling, travel management, senior level meeting coordination and preparation. HOW AN EXECUTIVE ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

  • Providing advice and guidance to the staff on preparation of appropriate procedural policies.

  • Keeping fully appraised of new and changed administrative policies and procedures affecting the various staff elements and developing implementing instructions and guidance for dissemination of those changes.

  • Reviewing the Director and Deputy Director’s daily messages and incoming actions and recommending courses of actions.

  • Identifying any suspense requirements and following up to ensure completion.

  • Acting as the primary point of administrative contact and liaison with external offices and individuals on operational and programmatic matters.

  • Dispensing, tactfully and diplomatically, a wide range of telephonic, interpersonal, and written inquires, receive and interface with high-level officials, a, high-profile visitors and confidential personnel.

  • Answering inquiries, making referrals as appropriate, determining which visitors and calls should be brought to the personal attention of the senior executives or other staff members

  • Navigating the various subordinate levels of hierarchy and differing technical functions within the organization.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Required Experience: AA/AS and 8 years experience with 5+ years of experience in office administrative management or executive support in a Federal government environment

  • Required Technical Skills: Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)

  • Security Clearance Level: Active Top Secret with SCI Eligibility

  • Required Skills and Abilities: Strong organizational and time management skills; Exceptional office management, and communication skills; tact and diplomacy; knowledge of a variety of best practice officer procedures, programs and operation to provide administrative support and ability to apply these skills to improve organization effectiveness; may be required to carry weight in excess of 25 lbs

  • Preferred Skills: Experience working in a SharePoint environment

  • Location: On Customer Site, Arlington, VA

The likely hourly rate for this position is between $49.04 - $66.34. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
