What You’ll Get to Do:
The Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) Application Administrator will be responsible for performing installation, configuration, testing and supporting activities related to the design and functionality of ESB. The program’s ESB includes but is not limited to Oracle Service Bus, Oracle Managed File Transfer (MFT), Oracle Database, Kafka Confluent Platform and their integrations. ESB Application Administrators actively participate in integrated product team meetings providing the necessary knowledge and guidance to ensure the selected ESB is implemented, configured and deployed successfully.

A successful ESB Application Administrator candidate will be fluent with a variety of data models from business systems planning and data requirements planning and will have experience in designing web services with optimal security and performance. The candidate will also have a thorough understanding of the leading ESB solutions in the industry and will understand in detail the integration of the chosen ESB with the components of a specified technology stack.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Documenting technical and conceptual specifications in support of installation / configuration of ESB, Database, & Kafka components & their integrations.
Operational Support of various internal ESB capabilities: IPPS-A APIs, service handlers, service operations, validation, error notifications & reporting, and Web service & SFTP connectivity with a focus on continuous process improvement and automation to overall reduce maintenance activities.
Operational Support of various external components of the system like PeopleSoft Integration Broker, OAM/OID, REST, Oracle GoldenGate, Virtual Private Database (VPD), & Data Vault with a focus on continuous process improvement and automation to overall reduce maintenance activities
Application of software patches and upgrades as needed to maintain functionality, security compliance and vendor support
Supporting the Testing and CM teams for Functional/Security and Performance Testing, Code packaging and code migration to various Test and Prod environments
Working closely with ETL development team to define topics, schemas, and routing to SFTP landing zones
Working closely with DBAs, ETL/ PeopleSoft Dev teams, and Security Team to improve performance and data quality
Working closely with developers, SMEs and Testers using Agile sessions
Working to identify, prioritize, and execute assigned tasks to meet program goals and deliverable objectives
Other tasks and activities as assigned or directed by the ESB Lead or Infrastructure Manager.
Required Qualifications:
Active DOD SECRET clearance required; SSBI preferred
Current Security+ accreditation required
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or Mathematics
5 - 9 years of related experience in the Information Technology field with an emphasis on large-scale ERP systems
3+ years of experience with Apache Kafka or Confluent Kafka; strong experience with messaging technologies, to include design, installation, configuration, and testing
2+ years of strong experience with enterprise service bus technologies, to include design, installation, configuration, and testing in Linux/Solaris environments; Oracle ESB/MFT required
3+ years of strong experience with scripting in Solaris/Linux platforms; sample scripts available upon request
1+ years of strong experience with SQL Compliant Database; Oracle preferred
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with a strong focus on customer service and solution ownership
Must possess strong oral and written communication skills and can demonstrate strong problem solving skills
Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple, dynamic priorities.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Experience with PeopleSoft Integration Broker and PeopleTools
2+ years of experience integrating OSB with PeopleSoft Integration broker
Experience configuring Confluent Platform in Linux environments; Schema Registry, Connect, REST, & KSQL plusses
Experience working in SIPRnet and deploying ESBs aboard the SIPRnet
Experience working w/Cross Domain Guards
Experience working w/Dissemination, Mandatory Access Controls (MAC), Role Base Access Controls (RBAC), and knowing the difference between them
Experience working within a DoD Data Center such as DISA
Proven track record of successful deployment of ESBs from requirements gathering through implementation

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$78,700 - $165,300
