Within ITA, the Optimized Recruiting and Candidate Analytics (ORCA) team shapes candidates' crucial Day 1 experience through:

  • Machine learning models and optimization solutions

  • Large-scale analytics for seamless candidate onboarding

  • Data-driven staffing and appointment planning across global locations

  • Balanced solutions promoting both cost efficiency and exceptional experiences

Key job responsibilities

• Lead quantitative analyses and develop statistical models using Python, R, and other programming languages to:

  • Solve complex business challenges through data-driven insights

  • Identify patterns and trends in large datasets

  • Create predictive models to optimize business outcomes

  • Implement and validate statistical methodologies

• Develop comprehensive technical documentation including:

  • Detailed methodology reports

  • Model specifications and assumptions

  • Statistical analysis procedures

  • Validation results and model performance metrics

  • Implementation guidelines and recommendations

The ideal candidate will combine strong analytical capabilities with clear technical writing skills to translate complex statistical concepts into actionable business insights.

Basic Qualifications

  • 2+ years of data scientist experience

  • Experience in Python, Perl, or another scripting language

  • 3+ years of data querying languages (e.g. SQL), scripting languages (e.g. Python) or statistical/mathematical software (e.g. R, SAS, Matlab, etc.) experience

  • 3+ years of machine learning/statistical modeling data analysis tools and techniques, and parameters that affect their performance experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a ML or data scientist role with a large technology company
