The Health Management Academy Account Manager in Arlington, Virginia

Position Summary: 

Account Managers on our Member Development team work to engage, renew, and grow our membership while providing excellent service to current Academy members. Successful account managers focus on serving and renewing current members while expanding the reach of THMA by seeking opportunities to expand members’ portfolios. 

Primary Job Duties: 

  • Accountable for onboarding new members and setting up relationships for long-term success, with a focus on the first 90 days 

  • Partner with CXO & VP-level Executive Sponsors to assess the strategic priorities, challenges, and opportunities within the health system and/or Industry company space and effectively map to THMA solutions 

  • Partner with internal Educational Services & Delivery Services teams to effectively segment and prioritize accounts to ensure strong NPS and achievement of member success metrics 

  • Drive accountability against account plans, identify operational efficiencies and ensure contract quality assurance to optimize renewal performance 

  • Drive revenue growth in the territory through the development of enterprise-level relationships, proactive identification of growth opportunities, and execution on cross-sell in existing member accounts.  Some cross-sell opportunities will be independently owned. Others will require partnership with a member of the sales team 

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders on productizing offerings in the Health System and Industry company markets 

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree required 

  • 4+ years’ experience in a Business Development or Account management role 

  • Experience with renewals and contract management 

  • Knowledge of or interest in learning healthcare industry content and trends

Physical Demands: 

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, and distance vision, and the ability to work with screens or monitors for prolonged periods of time. This position is primarily a sedentary job where the team member will be seated for the majority of the day.

Compensation:

Pay starting from $70,000 and up per year plus bonus and benefits
