Robert Half is looking for a talented Senior Accountant for a contract to hire opportunity. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for account analysis and reconciliations, financial statement preparation and consolidation, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. Responsibilities
Coordinate quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors
Create analysis on financial results (trends, performance metrics, benchmarks)
Arrange monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting
Formulate Balance Sheet account reconciliations
Ad-hoc projects as required
Administer monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, reports) in compliance with GAAP
Operate with business partners to create compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls and provide support on special requests
Bring a daily dedication to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process
Take part in various department-wide initiatives
Requirements - Skilled with ERP systems
Minimum 5-7 years of overall general accounting experience
Familiarity with corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required
Commitment and abilities to meet critical business deadlines
Demonstrated ability in exemplary analytical, quantitative and social skills
BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are a must
This position is for candidates with financial reporting systems proficiency
Comfortable working in a changing and dynamic environment
SEC reporting and SOX compliance is a plus
Ability to work well with functional department managers
Aptitude for analyzing financial data and generating accurate reports in a timely manner
Solid understanding of Microsoft Excel
Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation experience required
Analyze Trends experience
Self-starter, ability to identify issues and resolve problems
