Integrated Production Systs Mechanical and Electrical Assembly Technician 1 in Arlington, Texas
This is a hands-on position where the right candidate will be assisting the Assembly Installation lead with mechanical and electrical work.
- High School Graduate, 1 - 2yr Vocational Technical Training, Technical Associates Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- 2 years, combination of academic studies and work-related experience.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and building blueprints and equipment layouts
- Ability to assemble Electronic control panels from engineering drawings
- Ability to pass Drug and Background Check
- Clean DMV or MVR record
- Ability to lift 50 - 75 lbs.
- Ability to bending, kneeling, crawling, and working in tight spaces
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time and periodically climb stairs or ladders.
- Ability to work exposed to outside temperatures.
- Ability to travel 25% or more of the time.
- Electrical and mechanical experience in pneumatics/hydraulics/conveyors/or steam systems a plus
- Installation and Troubleshooting with a methodical approach to problem-solving
- Strong time management skills
- Construction experience is a plus
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
