Integrated Production Systs Mechanical and Electrical Assembly Technician 1 in Arlington, Texas

This is a hands-on position where the right candidate will be assisting the Assembly Installation lead with mechanical and electrical work.

  • High School Graduate, 1 - 2yr Vocational Technical Training, Technical Associates Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 2 years, combination of academic studies and work-related experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and building blueprints and equipment layouts
  • Ability to assemble Electronic control panels from engineering drawings
  • Ability to pass Drug and Background Check
  • Clean DMV or MVR record
  • Ability to lift 50 - 75 lbs.
  • Ability to bending, kneeling, crawling, and working in tight spaces
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time and periodically climb stairs or ladders.
  • Ability to work exposed to outside temperatures.
  • Ability to travel 25% or more of the time.
  • Electrical and mechanical experience in pneumatics/hydraulics/conveyors/or steam systems a plus
  • Installation and Troubleshooting with a methodical approach to problem-solving
  • Strong time management skills
  • Construction experience is a plus
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
