D.R. Horton, Inc. is currently looking for an *Accounting Assistant *for their Risk Management Department. The right candidate will be responsible for compiling and maintaining accounts payable records by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Enter invoices into computer and schedule for payments.
- Set up General Ledger coding on new matters.
- Invoice reconciliation.
- Research all bills to verify compliance with billing guidelines.
- Prepare and track expense statements and reimbursements.
- Research past-due invoices.
- Correspond with vendors to correct invoices.
- Receive, allocate and code incoming litigation deposits.
- Process documentation for new vendor setup.
- Create and update statistical reports and data models.
Respond to and research vendor inquiries.
College degree with emphasis in business, accounting, finance or related field or four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- Excel experience and proficiency required.
- Database, Legal Tracker, and Risk Management Information Systems experience is preferred
