Accountant II

Work location: Texas Health Resources 612 E. Lamar TX 76011

Work hours: Full Time, 40 hours/week, Monday – Friday 8:00am-5:00pm (remote work allowed at manager's discretion)

Department highlights:

  • Our group supports 31 entities and over 380 free standing clinics.

  • We work directly with entity CFOs, CEOs, Facilities Development, Engineering, Supply Chain and Real Estate groups to ensure the capital process follows GAAP and our extended team stays well informed.

  • We help grow and support Texas Health Resources to be the strongest regional healthcare system in North Texas

Here’s What You Need

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree Accounting is required

Experience

  • 2 Years relevant work experience is required

What You Will Do

  • Performs general ledger accounting including maintaining general ledger accounts; preparing and reviewing journal entries; and account reconciliations. Researches and resolves discrepancies.

  • Participates in monthly and year-end close by gathering and analyzing data to accurately prepare and report financial information.

  • Conducts general budget to variance analysis.

  • Addresses relevant accounting questions from financial planning and financial operations.
