Job Details Job Location Arlington, MN Position Type Full Time Job Shift Evenings Description High Island Creek is a 13-Person Residential Home for individuals with Developmental Disabilities is looking for individuals who are compassionate with a caring demeanor, excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with our residents. Join our care team as a Direct Support Professionals (DSP) and you won't just go to work. Every day, you'll have the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our residents. Current Schedule Openings 34 hours per week (combination of 2pm-9pm and 230pm - 9pm) does include every other Saturday & Sunday Benefits Rolling PTO Partnership with "NICE" healthcare 401k company match. Receive full benefits for team members scheduled 20+ hours per week (including medical, dental and vision insurance). Responsibilities - Provide direct care and support to individuals in long term care, personal care homes, and community settings. - Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and personal care needs. - Utilize premium skills such as first aid and working with individuals with developmental disabilities. - Respect and uphold residents' rights and dignity. - Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with team members. - Demonstrate compassion, patience, and empathy in all interactions.
