POSITION SUMMARY

This position is responsible for the reporting of operational data with business intelligence tools. TheBusiness Systems Analystwill also serve as a primary point of contact for Reporting Systems. This position will play a role in the effort to standardize reporting across VTech Electronics NA, LeapFrog and other global VTech operations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Project management of new business application system implementations (ERP, Custom Business Applications, Datawarehouse/Reporting, etc.) where the project team will often be cross-functional and/or cross-regional (Hong Kong & US)

{=html} <!-- --> - Troubleshoot and analyze business application issues for issues related to the ERP, custom business applications and Business Intelligence Tools) - Gather, analyze and document business requirements, functional specifications, detailed designs of functionality and technical designs - Develop test plans, test scripts and coordinate functional and user acceptance testing by executing the testing strategy, scheduling resources and tracking test performance. - Maintain the data integrity and operation of analytical and reporting systems - Help support Oracle ERP Systems - Develop and support reports based on MicroStrategy and similar tools - Collaborate through communication and teamwork with co-workers, management, clients and others in a courteous, and professional manner - Exercise sound business judgment - Work independently and collaboratively and manage time effectively in order to meet changing deadlines and priorities - Treat all employees, guests and customers and others affiliated with our business with respect - Conform and abide by all laws, regulations, policies, work procedures, instructions and VTech\'s Rules of Engagement - Conform with all safety rules and use all appropriate safety equipment

POSITION SKILLS

• Proficiency with multiple Business Analysis and Reporting systems

{=html} <!-- --> - Functional knowledge and experience with ERP Systems (Oracle EBS preferred) - Ability to read and interpret procedural and scripting development languages - Ability to read code in SQL (PL/SQL preferred). Experience writing and developing code is a plus - Experience with leading IT projects and strong understanding of project management methodologies (PRINCE & PMP etc.)

{=html} <!-- --> - Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing experience - Experience with MicroStrategy reporting preferred - Demonstrates initiative, is conscientious and provides complete follow-through on areas of responsibility - Experience establishing and developing productive working relationships with business leadership teams, IT leadership and various levels of staff - Solid analytical, problem identification and resolution skills - Proven ability to build consensus and obtain alignment between IT and business leadership - Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with Microsoft Office 365 preferred.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION

• 5 years of progressively responsible experience in the area of data analytics
• Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science or a related field; or any combination of experience and education that provides the necessary skills, knowledge and ability to perform assigned tasks
• Master\'s degree is desirable

MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITY

This position has no management/supervisory responsibilities.

POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK

This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Core hours will be set between employee and manager and will be based on business needs. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

TRAVEL

Travel is primarily local during the business day, although out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected 10% of the time.
